Automation OpportunityEstimator

Put in how much repetitive work your team does. See the hours and value automation could reclaim, with every assumption on the page.

Your numbers

Anyone who re-types, assembles reports, chases status or files documents as part of their week.
A rough figure is fine. Many office roles land between 4 and 10 hours.
Wages plus benefits and overhead, per hour.
Sets a starting share for the slider below. Change it if you know better.
Illustrative. Work that follows the same steps every time scores high; judgement calls score low.
If you enter one, the tool shows how many months of reclaimed value would cover it. Not a quote.

How this is calculated

Repetitive hours per week = people × hours per person.
Reclaimed hours = repetitive hours × share that could run on its own.
Low and high = share × 0.8 and share × 1.2 (capped at 95%).
Value per year = reclaimed hours × 48 working weeks × loaded hourly cost.
Full-time equivalents = hours per year ÷ 1,920 (40 hours × 48 weeks).
Payback = illustrative budget ÷ (value per year ÷ 12).

Reclaimed hours do not disappear from payroll. They are capacity the same people can put into work that needs judgement, customers or growth. Whether that turns into money depends on your operation. Treat the output as a conversation starter, not a forecast.
