Assumptions behind this run
Each step has an illustrative hands-on time per item, a typical wait before the next step can start, and for error-prone steps a share of items that need a correction. The table below is what the simulator used. They are starting points from how these workflows commonly run, not measurements of your operation.
| Step | Minutes per item | Wait before next step | Items needing a fix |
|---|
Handling hours = sum of minutes per item × items, plus correction time, ÷ 60. Lag = sum of the waits. Follow-ups = sum of error shares × items. A year is 48 working weeks.
